Wintertime is a beautiful and festive time for people all over the world, but for many, the weather can be an intrusive plague upon their daily comfort because of the harsh way that the air affects their skin. If you are one of the people that suffer from these types of conditions, you will be happy to know that this article is geared towards sharing some great tips on how to keep your skin hydrated during those dry winter months.

Hydrating Your Skin from the Inside

The first way you can get hydration to your skin is, of course, with drinking the water – it also acts as a natural  hair loss treatment. Start logging how much water you drink every day so you can be sure you are getting enough. We recommend using Sango Coral Life mineral sachets in all your water. These sachets are convenient and very affordable. Making it more interesting, such as with infused water, might also be helpful.

Hydration on Your Skin

Olive Oil
This oil can be one of the most versatile and useful oils besides coconut oil. Olive oil is somewhat thick and contains a hefty amount of saturated fats. These fats are excellent for both hydrating the skin and for filling spaces in the cells. It also has antimicrobial properties that help it to heal cellular damage to the outer layers of your skin. It is also anti-inflammatory, so that makes it an excellent oil for bringing down some lacerations, and soothes cracked dry skin.

Coconut Oil

Like olive oil, coconut oil is very high in saturated fats and creates a layer of protective material. Coconut oil can be easily mixed with other oils to deliver their properties, as well. The oil used in this way is said to be a carrier oil. Coconut oilís natural compounds make it possible for you to use it consistently without having to worry about dosages and amounts within specific periods.

Honey Face Mask

Honey can be an excellent way to go to prevent dryness and gain a healthy layer of skin that can withstand the elements more efficiently. The most effective honey trick is to add it to coconut oil. This powerful combination of antioxidants and saturated fats has become a stand by for dry skin sufferers.

Cleansing with Sango Coral Life Water

It’s pretty safe to say that during an average lifetime, most people probably see hundreds, if not thousands of skincare products. Many of them are made by unnatural means that can cause painful damage or irritating discomfort after prolonged use. If you have sensitive skin, or you are strict with yourself about what kinds of products you will use, then that reduces options. Fortunately, Sango Coral Life  water is accessible, natural, and gentle on your skin, so this article will be sharing to use this marvelous product not only to hydrate your body but also to cleanse your skin with naturally ionized high pH water. Sango Coral Life water may be used with your choice of cleanser. I like to keep a container by my bathroom sink so clean, pure, room temperature water is ready to use 24/7. The pH level will remain elevated for days.

More Tips for Hydrating Your Skin

As you might already know, one of the most significant issues in regards to beauty during the winter is having dry skin. The chilly, dry air of winter can be disastrous for your skin. What you want to do is add in hydration and moisture the best you can. Here are some things to do and not do to help provide more moisture and hydration to your skin during the cold winter months.

Wear Sunscreen Every Day

Not wearing sunscreen every day is a common mistake people make since it is cold and windy, and often snowing in the winter, but you still need to protect your skin. During the day, the sun is out and the UV rays can harm your skin, whether it looks sunny and feels hot or not. Make sure you never leave the house without sunscreen on, whether you use a sunscreen under your makeup, or you switch to a face moisturizer that has SPF in it. Either way, you are helping to protect your skin, which is going to help you keep it hydrated.

Don’t Forget About Your Lips

Your lips are another area of your skin where you might not pay much attention. Be mindful not to overlook lip care as it should be a crucial part of your beauty routine. The dry air can do a lot of damage to your lips. The natural moisture there is dried rather quickly in the winter, but you can keep them healthy and moisturized with some good lip balm. Again, wear it every day just like with sunscreen, even if you don’t currently have any problem with your lips. Wearing protective lip balm helps to prevent dryness and cracking before it becomes a problem.

Have a Good Cleansing Routine

Essential skincare should still follow in the coming cold winter months. Whether you live in a mild or colder climate, the temperatures are always going to drop and affect your skin. You should still wash your face twice a day, though you might want to switch to a gentle cleanser since your skin will be a little more sensitive than in other months. Also, make sure you are using a moisturizer on your face twice a day.

Don’t Use Hot Water

When you are washing your face, avoid using hot water. You want the water to be as close to cool as you can stand. If it is cold in your house, the last thing you want to do is shock your skin with ice-cold water. Instead, try lightly warm or lukewarm water. If it is too hot, it will strip your skin of its natural moisture, leading to drying.

Hope you have found these tips coming to you at a good time. Winter will be upon us all very soon. Some parts of the country are already experiencing frigid temperatures. Always remember, self care is not selfish, it is a necessity of life for you to live your best!

Until next time,

XOXO,

Marlene
